We really love this 50s coat dress because it can truly be worn as either a dress or a coat.  Medium weight, black cotton velvet.  Classic princess cut with a fitted bodice, nipped waist, and a semi-full skirt.  Large buttons down the front.  Black faille trim on the collar, pockets and cuffs.  Back belt.  Unlined.   Looks great worn by itself as a dress or unbuttoned as a Fall weight coat.
